Immediate Release

We received the news reported by mynewsgh.com and myafricatoday.com on 14th October, 2019 that the NDC AND the NPP have been banned from campaigning at Kade for bad and deplorable state of roads at Kade as surprising.

We wish to state unequivocally that the NDC has not been banned from campaigning at Kade.

The NDC Government through the able leadership of former president JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA started the construction of some town roads at Kade which has been abandoned by President NANA ADDO and his NPP government which has left those roads in a deplorable state.
Again, the main road from NSAWAM THROUGH TO ASAMANKESE TO KADE AND ABIREM was under construction and work was progressing steadily until NDC left government. Today, construction work has stopped which has left the roads in a very horrible state.
This can not be blamed on NDC, we started to construct but the NPP came to abandon.

We ask members to channel their challenges to the NPP GOVERNMENT now and not to associate the bad conditions of Kade roads to NDC.

The NDC in assuming Office in 2021, will complete the abandoned roads in Kade and add projects that will befit a municipal assembly.

Thank you.
